Lush Bar, located on 2 Ly Tu Trong Street in District 1 is large and well furnished with contemporary lounge decor on 2 levels. Great DJs playing the latest hip hop, rnb and pop tunes keep the mixed crowd of locals, expats and tourists bopping along. The bar gets packed to the brim after 10:00pm on weekends and drinks are a little on the expensive side but still one of the better bars in Saigon nonetheless.

It’s full of prostitutes and their gangster boyfriends. As an Asian American, I went to this club with my Viet American girlfriend and her sister. A group of Viet gangsters and their girlfriends started pushing my girlfriend around on the dance floor. I pushed them away and they started throwing punches at me. One of the guys even punched my girlfriends sister! What a bunch of cowards! Then a short guy and security pull me away, leaving the gangsters alone. Security even pulled my girl away while one of the guys was hitting her. He tells me they are his friends! They would have stayed in the club if my girlfriend didn’t call the cops who did nothing when they showed up. By that time the gangsters took off in a cab. Watch out if you are a foriegner as the gangsters and security are friends.

Wouldn’t say full of prostitutes – that would tend to make it more interesting! Yet certainly there are some in there. There are many women in there with straight day jobs, who appear not to be prostitutes but will certainly do “after hours” business if the price is right. Adds to the confusion. What it certainly is full of, with monotonous regularity, are local foreign expatriate men and wealthy Vietnamese/overseas Vietnamese males looking for some company – in a desperate search for an alternative to Korean karaoke bars and expensive discos, or, heaven help us; the backpacker bars. Often I’ve noticed that males outnumber females by 2 to 1. Not a good ratio, unless you’re female of course. A beer will cost you 75,000 VND.

Visited Lush last Thursday October 30, 2008. The place was happening. Not too many expats and the right amount of girls. Had a great time. Met a beautiful girl from Hanoi. It’s much better than Apocalypse Now in my mind.

A good place to go. If you like hip hop and R&B you should definitely go there.

One of the few good places for good music in Saigon. Definitely not full of prostitutes, though there are usually a few of the wealthier single set around if you fancy trying your luck. Every time I’ve been in there (around a couple dozen times in the last 2 months), it’s been mostly full of Vietnamese or Viet Kieu, not that many expats around, guess they’ve been going to Apoc in search of chicken more recently.
Hip hop on a tuesday night, rest of the week rotates between electro house and hard dance (though not quite hard enough for my personal taste). It’s the closest to a real “western” style dance club I’ve managed to find, and the only one not just full of hookers and over age expats looking for prostitutes.
If you want a good clean night out with friends with good music and no hassle, then this is the place.

Yes, Lush is very good bar in Saigon. They have a ladies night on Tuesday. Free drink for ladies the whole night. There isn’t anywhere that does that. Great funky house music on Saturday.

LUSH is my favorite one at the moment!
Especially I usually go there on Tuesday, crowded enough, good music, beautiful girls, drink price reasonable, friendly bartenders.
Hip hop music, happy hour before 9:30PM, the drink price even cheaper around 25.000 to 40.000 VND
What can I say? A best Bar in SAIGON.
The thing that I don’t like is small dancing area!

YUCK, Generally speaking, it is better than Apo. However, the attitude needs to be changed. Does security guard need to be at the entrance to select who should be allowed to go inside? It isn’t like they are searching for weapon.

It’s really really exciting at Friday, from music to the design and the atmosphere in here. In my opinion, Lush is the best Bar in Saigon for everyone… u should try once there ^^

It’s a decent place for hanging out with friends. However, due to over crowded folks. You probably is going to have a hard time finding a spot to locate. There are tons of hot chicks. The food is decent. Be sure to dress up or you wont be able to get in.

Lush was full of pretentious losers… Too many pigs looking for hookers.. The girls behind the bar were useless ditzy morons.. Ordered my drink 3 times and never got it.. Why have “Girls drink free” if they really dont wanna give it up!! Had to get my partner to demand my drink… over crowded and crap club..

Hi all, visiting Saigon in the next couple of months. Looks like this place is one of the best bars in town for some good house and hard dance music. What is the dress policy for Lush Bar and also other bars in Saigon? What do you need to be wearing to get in?!? Can you wear shorts or do you need to wear jeans if you are a male? Also apart from Lush Bar what is everyone’s best other bars in Saigon that we should check out?!?

Good club….My Bangkok girlfriend and I took limo from Legend hotel and drove around looking for a good time. Stopped in LUSH for a few hours…..Excellent music, exspensive drinks 100,000 dong (Vodka 7up), more chix than dudes. No problems…..Smoking should be banned in club…! Overall, good time

Best Club In Vietnam! I have been there at least 50 times over the last 3 years. Last time I went with three girls, they would not let me in because they said the girls were not 21, (they were 20-25) There is no law in Vietnam that requires people to be 21. There is no age to drink in Vietnam! The young girl 20, was my girlfriends cousin and was not dressed with expensive cloths so they would not let her in! There is an unspoken dress code! make sure you dress your country side girls up or they wont let you in. Many 18 year old girls inside with nice cloths! They are “liars” just like the vast majority of people you will meet here! Ill go back because its the best club in Vietnam! Make sure you dress up your country side girl friends or they wont let you in!

1 half year ago i was there with my wife, seating at the bar dowstairs. Some carzy guy throw a glass from upstairs which ended up on my front head then on my right hand, cutting 3 tendons and 2 nerves.. blood started to flow heavily.. almost no time to realize what was happening, taking some tissue papers and trying to limit the bleeding, we left the place for the closest hospital.. No one made a move at the bar, from the bar tenders to the security guys.. really shitty attitude.. no ones came to ask if we needed help.. by taxi and after trying 2 international SOS clinics (and 1 unbelievable stop at a nightmare local hospital), i’ve ended up at FV Hospital and got operation 6 hours later, 1 night hospitalization (3500 US$) and had a plaster for 1 month.. Now as souvenir from Lush i’ve a nice large scarf looking like a 7, .. a lucky number isn’t it?! Be careful if you go there, don’t expect any one to help in case of problems, and of course do not stand under the mezzanine! otherwise the people you will see there are the same you will meet at any other bar/disco in VN, nothing particular, the usual “cocktail” of expat foreigners, locals, hookers and sexy “divas” ..

Well guys and gals I was there for one night only with three ladies and 4 other guys, personally we all had a ball, no stress and the music was great, hip and happening.
No hassles getting in and no hassles while we were in there, I guess if you sit at the bar looking like a tool then you might get picked on but for us we were all over the floor for three hours.
As I said that was my first time there and I would not blink a eye to go back again, all good fun, and yes there were working class Ladies there and just normal people having a great time.
What club in Vietnam or for that case the world does not have any working class girls in there, would be boring as shit if they were none correct.

Visited HCMC for about 6 nights and went to Lush 4 times, every night people invited me to drink with them and I met hot vietnamese girls every time. It is a fun club with good music and easy to talk to people.

Prices are not cheap but still not expensive as others big clubs.
People are mostly viet kieu (viet from overseas) and tourists. U have some locals too. Chicks a definitly hot.. and mostly of them are just girls coming to have fun just like u

If I have to sum up LUSH, then LUSH is the least crappiest nightclub in HCMC in my opinion. There is no “best-place” list here in HCMC only a “sucks-big-time” list and LUSH is the one that sucks the least.
If I go, I usually hang out in the outside areas of the club and hardly go inside.
Like in all the Saigon clubs it’s very easy to witness or be part of a fight with drunk idiots. Lush is no exception. I’ve seen many fights in Lush and even someone been thrown of the balcony into the dancing crowd. Personnel and security are a bunch of chickens and never step in when there is a fight. Unless one of their friends is involved.

well, i went to vietnam in the summer of ’09 and it was the shit, we hit up all the clubs. personally i love Gossips, but i went to lush and it was crowded as fuck. saw a girl there that was super hot, almost trip when i was walking toward her, hahaha. it was pretty good, the bottle are cheap as compare to the other clubs. me and my friends blow 5K. trust me the bottles there are cheaper. plus i suggest buying bottles instead of drinks cause that shit add up to the same amount and you dont get that much. split it between friends and it’ll be cheap as hell

why so surprised? Vietnam is now a country of gangsters (I’ve lived here for two years) and it appears that almost all women in Saigon turn into hookers at nightfall……..every club I’ve been in in Saigon has a fight each night………the feeling in Saigon is that “if I have money, then I MUST have class”……sadly not the case…..money in Saigon just helps people to show how tasteless they really are, but to do it in a louder more aggressive way………..and money cannot buy you class/breeding/style………….when will Saigon realise this?

Was there last night. Got attacked by three of the parking lot staff as i left. They beat me with steel pipes. Now I’m laying in a bed and can’t move for the pain to my back, can hardly see out of my left eye, and have a badly damaged right knee.
The three staff tried to lift my wallet and phone from my pocket. I yelled for the manager and then these thugs came at me with metal pipes. Management refused to get police. They said it wasn’t their problem.
Time for more pain killers.

ehh…Don’t know why all ya got a lot of problems at Lush, I had been there a lot times and everything was so fine. The music was perfect but on Tuesday and weekend only. Lady Nights there are lots lots of stunning sexy and hot chicks. I really have to say that, a lot of hot girls there even celebrities and models. Prostitutes…also a lot there, but normal girls still available. Normally ppl go there for enjoyin’ good music and nice drinks, not so expensive. It’s easy to recognized if some girls are hooker or not, they tend to dress very sexy in a way like they have nothing else to strip off (braless, very short pant, only one piece of thin voan over their top, their hair look totally like a shitty messy, and very thick make-up. Normal girls are dress elegant and sometimes sexy too with long dress, short dress, high-heels and they normally go with a group of their gf. I think there are not a lot of messy in Lush, as some ppl go there and look for hooker but not have a good deal maybe. Whatever, if you be nice ,no-one will treat you bad.

Lush is a good place to go to and have fun, trust me !!!! I say this not becuz i’m a Vietnamese but it’s true……… One of the most coolest place in town
About the price : soft price, not so expensive compare to other places such as Velvet, Lavish, Fuse……
About the service : Good service, friendly waiters and waitress
About the music : Very good, R&B and hip hop mix together especially on Tuesday (Ladies night) and Friday (Hip hop night). If u love House then come to Lush on Saturday.

to refer to my previous post. me and my friends blow 5K on a lot of shit not just clubs. most of it was on food, god i miss the food. for u people who dont go out as much or are about to go back to vietnam, remember to bring a lot of friends cause it does get crazy sometimes. if anything just mind ur own business and you;ll be fine. went back last summer and went out for 23 of the 27 nights i was there, no problems at all. well, i have tons of family there so i always roll packing, but we just go out to have fun and not looking for shit. about to go back this december. cant fucking wait. lush has some of the prettiest girls that are not hookers as i can tell. gotta find me a mistress, lol. j/k im not even marry yet.

You should play at Lush. Lush plays house music on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday. Sabrina Terence and Major Laser from Dubai and USA had chosed Lush. This is my suggestion , hope u can fight a good place to bring the noise
