A nice place sit, listen to load music and drink. But make sure to bring your benjamin, or else you will be treated like shit.

Security is tight here and it can be quite daunting. Very expensive. My only disappointment was having a nasty local girl stamp on me with her high heel stilletos and it was me that got moved to another spot on the dance floor. However this can happen anywhere so not to worry. Very trendy however with a lot of movers and shakers. Good energy dance music with a decent light show.

    dj hoy was awsome

Expensive but good tunes – more on the vocal trance tip the night i was there. Security was a little over the top. I was in trouble for my leather shoes brushing the glass on the top floor. Crazy – Good light show and sound.

this bar piss me off. NO room and they ask me to stand while drinking…..
they keep asking me to buy wine which I dont like. I only want Beers…..

I wouldn’t be there when its so pack and you have no room to move around and the drinks are expensive……

    other charge…. I say pass…..

Went there twice during my short 4-days stay in HCMC. Nice chicks around and especially enjoy teasing the 3 babes serving at the bar counter.

Fall in love with a babe in yellow jacket but too shy to ask her out :(

to me, tight security is good and no to mention their are very polite to me. Look at them this way, they are doing their job too.

Cheers and will go there again… for sure!!!

  7. Sam says:

Too packed on fri-sat, need to get in real early otherwise waste your time to get into packed house and can’t even move inside! If you like viet skanks and hardcore doof doof otherwise time waste!

  8. stan says:

@Sam: only fools go in to clubs at late hours and expect to have a seat ready for them…

And one more thing: respect the Vietnamese and stop labelling Asians as skanks etc…

I’m a Singaporean expat and one thing that I keep hearing from the Vietnamese is this – white people (aka the Americans & British) are scums of the earth who pay little respect to Vietnamese culture and people. Sad thing as there are many other Americans and British expats who aren’t like that but sad anyway to see many tourists behaving like they own the country. Pathetic folks.

  9. stan says:

@Sam: disclaimer – I have nothing against Americans or the Brits as I have fellow expats who hail from there and respect Vietnamese culture etc…

But what irks me is some of those tourists who dun simply know how to behave themselves? Sigh…

Love this bar:X . The day I joined this bar, I watched Michael Jackson show here. I like the dancers. They’re so awesome. The securities are kind and cute. They tried to stops the other guys who near my place, when those guys bothered us. I’ll come back soon.

I was at that club on a night and seems pretty cool, but we left to go to see Ibiza D.J Coco Ariaz at D&D Club and this is what we really call quality, excellent D.J and make us go so crazy and dancing that night….just incredible! Love you coco ariaz!

  12. Roy says:

Yeah Anna, I agree with you because we see the ads of this Ibiza D.J and after that we go straight away to this club d&d, the dj rocks the place like i’ve never seen before here in ho chi minh, excellent, great night with greatest music that drives us and all the crowd there rocking!! five stars to this dj coco ariaz!!

    guys guys guys!

i been to this place a few times now and this place rocks.. music, lights, security and the crowds are awesome!

guys who says it expensive.. its not.. have you to other clubs in saigon? its the same shit!

good thing abt this place is that you’ll never get cops raiding the place.. the owners are connected to the government ;)

bring some of your own girls to dance with or you can get a service chick to come to the table.. just gotta give a tip at the end

  14. Tony says:

This club is one of the best nightclub in saigon. I’ve visited nearly all of the bars/nightclubs that saigon have to offer during my 4 weeks trip in vietnam.

The place is crowded everytime i went there… the securities, the services and drinks are great and i never forget those hot sexy local vietnamese girls.

They’re really easy to talk to, every night i go girls come up to me on the dancefloor asking for my name and phone number and inviting me back to their table for drinks… i guess vietnamese girls love tall and handsome blokes hahaha

I’ll definately come back here again

  16. Roy says:

Nothing compared as the night we been into D&D for dj Coco Ariaz, I have been lately in my last trip to Vietnam to this place and it looks ok, but the music & dj….so far away of that night at D&D with that Ibiza dj that me and my fellas had..really awesome and what is called “great music”..so far, my best night in Saigon without doubt…i can’t wait to see this dj coco ariaz again rocking the club in the form he do it!!

  17. BDP says:

Gossip.. Great music and lovely girls all u find there. But the thing is u’ll find a very clever staff over there. I went there once, I was alone and just wanted to have few drinks. So I ordered a glass of Red Lable and a can of soda. And I had a 5 glasses and after every each shot they charged me 100,000 VND. 75,000VND for Red Lable and 25,000 for the Soda. But I know they served me only one soda because i never mix a lot of soda when I’m drinking. One can of Soda was more than enough for that 5 shots. But they charged me for 5 sodas and 5 Red lable shots. Acctually I knew what’s happening there. I just let them to cheat me. Because I never wanna go there again. Nice Club, Great Music… Cheating Staff…

my local friends booked us a couch when we went because she is friends with the manager and we had the most fantastic time.. the service was great some of the local girl not so great but hey who cares you get that in any club and it only cost 200AUD for the night for 4 of us which is as much as it would cost for one person back home.. i’m only disappointed that i discovered it the night before i left.. will defiantly be going back

  19. Akumata says:

Nice place, nice people, but definitely too noisy for me. I m probably to old. lol

  20. Orerian says:

Very good place to be. Went there 7 or 8 times in a 10 days stay in Ho Chi Minh. Being French, I was more into Parisioan nightlife. Then I discovered Tokyo where I stayed a while (Womb club, especially). In spite of all that, nights at the Gossip were memorable. Security is secure, and can be extremely friendly if you treat them with a minimum of respect.
Waitresses and supervisors can speak a good english and are very enjoyable people.
We made friends there, among locals and expats.

Music is loud and entertaining. I’d say conventional house/dance music. No hard electro, no trance, a little slice of Hip Hop from times to times.

Of course, remember that you are in Vietnam. They will do everything they can to make you buy their most expensive stuff, but even if you think you can’t, you can just tell them what you really want and you’ll get it. Just have to understand how it works.

You must give it a try. One thing’s for sure, I’ll go back there as soon as I go to HCMC again.

  21. Mike jones says:

haha went there last summer about 15 times. bought like 20 something bottles. we knew the manager so we got the hook up and security protected us. it just depend on who u know and how u act and how much money u have. ur in asia, that’s the way it is.

  22. Dan Tyler says:

One of the more decent clubs HCM has to offer. Music is fantastic, light show needs an upgrade. Staff is friendly, Waitresses (Phuc Du – Must Tip for Talk) are HOT!, Security is uber friendly (Do not TIP guards). The only advice I can offer is watch out for the Owner, not the manager. He’s the owner and therefore should have the unmost respect of your personal space and table. He’ll occasionally swing by grab a girl from your table he’s fond of and grope & dance with her. I just got back from 5 weeks in HCM, 4 of those nights were spent at Gossip. My girlfriend and I were fed up and left the club around midnight while her friends stayed back. He got my gf’s number from her friends and haven’t stopped texting and calling her. It’s very unprofessional and quite sad. But you’ll it from a few clubs not “ALL”. I’m Vietnamese myself, but if your looking for fun stick to Lush, and 121 (the new 030). Best nights of my life there.
